Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American actress and model who also works as a television hostess as well as a comedian. Her condition became severe and she experienced several organ failures, including her kidneys, which failed to recover. The patient was required to change her lifestyle around hemodialysis then peritoneal dialysate. In the 80 days she spent in medical center, her world was changed completely. Angelica had completed a half-year of dialysis, and one year half, was now ready for her biggest operation of all - the replacement of her kidney. Her mother was the one who was the one to donate her kidney. On September 13 2013 Angelica and her mom underwent a successful kidney transplantation surgery in two renowned hospitals just across the street from one another- the University Hospital of Memory and Children's Hospital of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale has been pursuing her dreams of being a star ever since.
